Wow was I in a bad mood or what???

Now that I'm over that 24 hour angry period of my life from last week, I'm ready to smile again...brush my shoulders off, and catch up with life.

How was everyone St. Patrick's day???  Mine was so much fun and just what I needed.  Of course it included friends, drinks, and a very interested pub crawl.  It felt good to be myself again.  I've just been so couped up all winter and coaching/working my life away.  I forgot how much fun my friends can force me to have lol.

::takes a deep breath::

I've been neglecting my blog, and my writing.  I am excited to change that.

Sometimes people just need a high five...to the face...with a chair.

Total annoyance level of on a scale of 1-10 would be a 15.

I've come to a conclusion, when things get tough emotionally for me, I get the feeling of running away...somewhere...anywhere.  I jump into a character that seems to not be myself, one that would do anything for a new life and a fresh start.  One that has the mind frame of, "anything is possible".  As soon as something deters me from being happy, I begin to plan out a different life.  I even go about as to start checking if I can fulfill the idea of a new life; checking my bank account, jobs, transportation, apartments.  I do this until my brain is exhausted or I snap back to reality and remember that it is impossible due to the fact that I'm broke.  Then the feelings of being trapped begin.  I have too much debt (student loans) to ever go anywhere.  There is no way I could ever live anywhere other than with my parents because I'm paying so much in loan payments.

Sounds sad but my best bet is to win the lottery....

I'm back and I mean it this time!

Once again I have been just too busy to even think about writing my blog.  There has been just so many things going on in my life.

So hmm.... lets see....

Because my Cobalt was totaled, I had to buy a new car.  And thanks to the girl who caused the accident, her insurance game me a nice settlement which allowed me to get an ever nicer car than I had before.

I'm officially in love....  This is Smurfette, the new love of my life lol.

Also, on Sunday my team won the state title in their division....for the 3rd straight year!  We actually placed first in all three competitions we went to this year.

This is the plaque on our trophy.

So now that cheering is over for the season and I have a drive able automobile, things should start to get back on track.  I'm excited to have more free time to blog and such.

RIP Lily

I had a wonderful post on Friday but before I could even hit the publish button, my luck once again decided to kick me in the ass, laugh, and run away.  As you can see below, my car is in rough shape...such rough shape that she's been deemed the scary "T" word....TOTALED.  My 07 Chevy Cobalt who's name was Lily for obvious reasons, is now in auto heaven.

While I was driving home from work Friday morning, a girl decided to take a left hand turn out of a side street to my right.  She obviously didn't look to her left before pulling out and hit me on my front passenger side of my car.  She hit me so hard in fact, that she pushed me right into the other lane..... which then resulted in me hitting the oncoming SUV head on.

I had my seat belt on so I had no injuries.  I just have a bruised knee and a sore back, but nothing awful.

So now I don't have a car which sucks.  The accident wasn't my fault so I plan on getting every penny I can from the other person's insurance in order to buy a new car.  Until then, my mother and I are sharing a car or hopefully their insurance will pay for a rental.  We just have to wait for the police report.

The kicker of all this is that the girl who hit me was a 17 year old high school student from the town next to mine and she's on their cheerleading team lol.  We are competing against them this year in our division.  She went and hit the cheerleading coach of the state championship team.....she's shitting her pants lol.  Does anyone else find that kind of funny/ironic?

You've got to be kidding me...

So if my life couldn't be any more stressful right now, I'm sick.  Yup....the start of a lovely head cold.  Stuffy nose, runny eyes, sneezing, sinus pain.  Everyone is getting sick though and it's mostly due to the unusal warm weather we are having in New England.  Today it was 60 degrees here....60 degrees!!!  It was February 1st and I had a tshirt on!!  We are loving the warmness and all, but everyone is so sick.  Its been one night at work with this cold, and I've gone through 2 boxes of tissues and a bottle of hand sanitizer.

I'll just keep chugging along though...until March 4th when cheering is done for the season.  At that point, I plan on drinking heavily and sleeping an entire week away LOL

What do you mean I can't use Photoshop?!?

In November, I bought a new notebook since my old one never wanted to stay on.  Last night I installed Photoshop only to get a lovely error message about halfway through.  After doing some research, I learned that my new notebook can't run Photoshop!  It's something to do with the fact that I have a Intel Atom processor or something...

I'm officially heart broken.

Where did January go?!?!

Ya, so, it's been a while.  I've been rather MIA since I went to Arizona.  I've just been sooooo busy.  Cheering has been intense lately with our competition this year.  I have literally spent the last 2 1/2 weeks watching YouTube videos of cheerleading routines and using Audacity to make their routine music for this year.  Its been a mean cheerleading acid trip hahah.

But yes, I'm back....back in the blog loop.

Before I was throwing into my two week cheering binge, I last updated my blog as I was flying to Phoenix, Arizona.  So let me recap a little about that.  AMAZING!!!  I've never been out of New England before so I was in awe of how different it is out there.  First off, the scenery is unbelievable!  No matter where you are out there, it is a picture.  My friend Tyler, who I surprised by waiting for him in his living room when he came home from work, had to sit down when he saw me because he thought he was going to faint.  It was the first time I've ever seen him speechless.

We went to Sedona, Scottsdale, and Tempe.  I'm not going to lie, I'm very temped to sell everything I own to move out there myself.  I just wish I didn't love my family so much lol.  Well, you know what I mean.  I'm so close to my family that I could not live so far away from them.  Damn them and my strong family values!

So overall....it was the best thing I've ever done for myself and I'm already saving my pennies to go back!  As for the flying thing....yup I did it and lived to tell.  Do I want to do it again, hellll no, but I will if it means getting to go back to this B-E-A-Utiful place!

Below are pictures from Sedona.  It was taken while standing on Bell Rock.  One of the highlights from the entire trip was learning that my cell phone took panoramic pictures!

36,000 feet???

One of my best friends from college now lives in Phoenix...he's been there a little over a year.  Not sure if you read a post I wrote in November sometime but, it was all about my fear of flying.  Hell, I still am scared.  But, guess where I am right now!  I'm 36,000 feet above Haileyville, Alabama right now in a Delta plane headed to Phoenix.  And no, that's not the best part...the best part is that my friend DOESN'T KNOW....SURPRISE!!!  His sister is picking me up from the airport and he has nooooo clue.  I could jump out of my skin I'm so excited. He knows I refuse to fly so he is going to fall over...and I plan on getting it on video.

The things we do for our friends.

Happy New Years 2012

It's been 2012 for about 4 1/2 hours here on the East coast.  This is the first New Years I didn't watch the ball drop.  I spend it sitting a desk in the back office of my work....alone...in tears.  I'm fully aware that life isn't fair and that I'm an adult so I need to do adult things...but my God, it feels awful.  I try so much to figure out what is so amazing about growing up and the older I get, the more I realize that answer is, nothing.  So of course I then try to pinpoint the problem....like,"Is there something wrong with me?"  Which of course, leads to nothing but second guessing, and even more questions that do nothing but leave you more stumped.  Those are the times when you need an OFF button on your brain....or I need one.

Be honest, you have that one friend that just goes on and on about how happy she is and how perfect her life is.  Now be really honest...all you want to do it beat her over the head with a bat.  But why do we feel like that?  Is it because we're jealous or simply because we don't believe her.   All my friends seem happy but are they faking?  Do we all fake being happy, even if it's just a little bit sometimes?  Maybe that's why I tend to not believe others when they say they are happy because, in my mind, no one can be THAT happy.

Yet we sit across from a friend while out at lunch and say,"Things are great right now."  Do we always mean it or do we have to say it because that's what adults do?  We aren't children anymore therefore we have to act the grown up part.  We can't cry and stomp our feet on the floor because someone was mean to us at work.  Instead we have to act professional and let the drama roll off our backs.  In my opinion, the kids are on to something.

::deep breath::

Now that I got that out.....  I apologize for the rant.  Hmm, I feel like all my posts are rants lately.  Sounds weird, but the past month I've had this deep underlying feeling of anger.  I've been angry at people mostly.  Not sure why, maybe this stems with the fact that I quit smoking 3 weeks ago.  Hell, if I'm going to just be an angry hag maybe I should pick up a pack.  Oh wait, I can't anyways because I'm broke LOL.

I need the city...that always makes me feel better.  Operation Boston commence....
